An Arctic Nature Photography Holiday in Lapland!

Are you interested in nature photography and would you like to deepen your knowledge and skills as a photographer? Do you want to see and photograph the Northern Lights at the best locations in Lapland? Now you have the possibility to combine your holiday to a photography and image editing course at Lapland!

Nature photographer Tomi Valo will familiarize you with nature photography and controlling the camera, as well as image editing, and best of all, he will take you to the best photographing locations at Kilpisjärvi! Tomi Valo have been teaching photography and image editing for several years at Enontekiö. The courses have especially studied the northern lights, birds and other wildlife photography.

You do not need to have previous experience – all you need is a SLR camera with the necessary accessories. For example for the northern lights a wide-angle lens and a tripod. The teaching will be tailored to your needs and the course may vary in length from one day to a week. The course will take place on-site at your cabin and the surrounding environment at Kilpisjärvi.

Enontekiö is one of the best places in the world to observe and photograph the northern lights and tourists from all over the world travel here to see the northern lights. The season begins in late August or early September and will continue until the end of April. In the autumn when lakes, rivers and ponds are still free from ice, we can have beautiful pictures as the northern lights are reflected from the calm surface of the water. In the winter, fells with heavy snow covered trees create an unique environment and framework for photography.
